About Uganda
Uganda is a landlocked country bordered by South Sudan in the north, Kenya in the East, Tanzania in the south, DR Congo in the west and Rwanda in the southwest. Uganda is covered by beautiful landscapes. Scenery is the most dramatic along the western and eastern borders. The western Rift valley runs from north to the south along the Uganda-Congo border. Uganda’s highest point is the 5110m Mountain Rwenzori found in the rift valley areas.
Uganda is also tagged as the “Pearl of Africa” home to 50% of the only remaining mountain gorillas in the wild natural habitat, the best-known destination to see the Chimpanzees in the world, source of the world’s longest river, River Nile among other beautiful things to see here.
